Hatchet is about a 13 year old boy named Brian who went to meet his father, but got stranded on an island when the pilot was unconscious. The only item he brought was his hatchet, a present his mother gave to him. Now, he must use his surroundings to eat, sleep, warmth, and shelter to survive the harsh environment and to hopefully have a miracle happen!
