Hatchet by Gary Paulsen

Mr. Nice by Bruce Hale

In this follow-up of The Chameleon Wore Chartreuse, Mr. Nice is about the principal of the school suddenly being nicer. Let's hope they can do it before the end of the council meeting!

Dragon Rider By: Cornelia Funke

I recently finished reading Dragon Rider, a VERY long book about many mythical creatures. At first, Firedrake the dragon and Sorrel the Brownie set out to find the Rim of Heaven because humans are taking over where they and other creatures live. Along the way, they pick pick up Ben the human, Twigleg the Homonculus, Lola the rat, and Burr-Burr-Chan the four armed Brownie. The group tries to run from Nettlebrand, the evil golden dragon who eats other dragon and still find the Rim of Heaven.
